Many patients from out of state, including overseas patients, choose the North Shore Center for Facial Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery for their surgery. Our patient care consultants are experienced in assisting with flights and transfers, hotel accommodations, recommending length of stay following surgery, and private-duty care for the duration of the stay. (Postoperative day and overnight private-duty aftercare is available from one to seven days.) In addition, they may arrange transportation to and from the clinic for all pre- and postoperative visits during the stay.

When you call the clinic, ask for an international patient care consultant to review arrangements and reserve your initial consultation appointment. If we ask you to send photographs by email, please observe these requests:

• Breast: Include front, lateral and oblique (45 degrees) views taken from each side. The frame should include the area from the neck to the umbilicus (belly button).
• Liposculpture and abdominal contouring: Include the entire abdomen from clavicle (collar bone) to mid-thigh. Include oblique views from each side and a full lateral view. Do not include your face.
• Liposuction: Views should extend from rib cage to knees, and include lateral, oblique, front and back views.
• Facial surgery: Include frontal, lateral (side) from each side and oblique views.
