Many patients from out of state and overseas seek to have their surgery performed at the North Shore Center for Facial Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery. For men and women who reside out of state or overseas, patient care consultants are experienced in assisting with flights and transfers, recommended length of stay following surgery, hotel accommodations and private duty care for the length of the stay. Post-operative experienced day and overnight private duty after care is available from one day to one week. In addition, transportation may be arranged to and from the medical outpatient center for all pre and post-operative visits during the stay.

All overseas patients are to speak to an international patient care consultant to review these arrangements and to reserve their initial consultation appointment.

To facilitate communication for out of state and overseas patients, it is recommended that the initial cosmetic surgery consultation and surgery be arranged and coordinated with an international patient consultant. When calling the clinic ask to speak to an international patient coordinator who will assist in arranging you consultation phone conference. Please adhere to the following requests for photographs:

• Breast photographs: should include a front view, lateral view, and an oblique view (45 degrees) taken from each side. The frame should include the area from the neck to the umbilicus (belly button).
• Abdominal Lipectomy and Abdominal Contouring photographs: should include the entire abdomen from the clavicles (collar bone) to the mid-thigh. Views should include oblique views from each side and full lateral view. Do not include your face in the photos.
• Liposuction photographs: should extend from the rib cage to the knees including lateral, oblique, front, and back views.
• Facial surgery photographs: should include frontal view, lateral view (side) from each side, and oblique view
