programs may include skin conditioning and resurfacing the stratum corneum (outermost
layer of the epidermis) to increase receptivity and speed up the skin's
metabolism. Accelerated exfoliation causes the epidermis to produce cells more
quickly and stimulate collagen formation in the dermis
After
Surgery
Postoperative
programs include a lymphatic drainage massage to address edema (swelling) and the
application of products that improve blood circulation, decrease inflammation
and help the skin retain its normal color during the healing process. Topical
applications to protect the skin from harmful sun exposure are also available.
